Lunar Engineering

Situated in the front workshop Lunar Engineering is a stand alone precision CNC machine shop. 
Formed at the end of 2007 Lunar Engineering was the result of a chance meeting between Conrad Phillips & Stuart Smith ( Formally of H&W Cloves Engineering), Stuart was looking for a change of direction and Conrad was keen to have an machine shop in house. After substantial investment we now have brand new CNC Leadwell Precision machines.

Lunar Machine Shop
 
The V-40 machining centre shown below has a 24 station tool changer and table size of 1200mm x 600mm giving a capacity of 1000mm x 500mm travel.

The V-30i machining centre shown below also has a 24 station tool changer.
This smaller machine has quicker movements allowing faster turnaround of components.

To compliment the CNC Milling machines we also have a T7 CNC Turning centre with 12 station turret capable of machining  up to 520mm diameter.

We also have a T6 CNC Turning centre with 12 station turret which  has a magazinne bar feeder & parts catcher to enable higher productivity on bars up to 50mm Diameter.
